Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really going ahead.
